More running on sloppy, slippery roads

It’s still snowing.  Seems like it snows everyday, but that’s OK.  This is Vermont and I like it like that.

It does make for difficult running, however.  The roads looked clear when I looked out the window, but it started snowing shortly before I stepped out the door.  I should have gone back and changed into my screw shoes, but instead stuck with a well used pair of Brooks T6s: not great shoes for snow.

Today was to be an easy day, and easy it was.  The low effort combined with some very slippery roads kept my pace low, and I got in just over 7 miles at a slow ~8:25 pace.
