Trainer time

I spent 15 minutes on the rowing machine and then another 2:15 on the bike trainer.  Man that is deadly boring.  Is it spring yet.

I managed to get in 10 good hours this week.  The plan is to stay at that level for a month.  Next few weeks will be difficult, however.  I’m traveling for work this week and then the holidays come along.

The shin splint pain I had yesterday seems mostly cured by a good dose of massage.  When I have any media shin pain, I find it is usually caused by a knot on the inside calf muscle.  I give it a good massage, loosening up any knots by really pressing on them for a minute or more.  I then finish up with some gentle massage.  Heat or ice also helps me with this, but not on the shin, on the calf.
